Back again

As you may have noticed, mama blog writer has been awol for a good long while. Those of you who know me from the GP forum may remember that I was having problems eating, and with losing a lot of weight. Well, since then, I have been in and out of hospital, and have had various tests done, and have been diagnosed with having gastropareisis, hiatus hernia, and severe reflux. Along with this, gluten intolerence and  possibility of CFS. The joys! So, I will be taking meds for the rest of my life so I can eat comfortably. I have been on tablets for a few weeks now, and the worst symptom is milk production. How uncomfortable is that?! But I will put up with it so I can et. It's at the stage where I don't care as long as I can eat. It is getting a bit better although I still can't eat a meal as such; it's just a relief to get anything down without the severe pain every time. The possibility of CFS isn't too much fun though. I feel like an old woman, it's so bad. In fact, so bad tht Richard is preparing to give up work in order to help me out, and give me a break. Which isn't as bad s it sounds as in fact we would be better off financially, which is weird.

Animal wise, we have a new addition to the dogs, a chocolate lab called Brogan. And a rescued kitten which I found on the farm, left for dead, which we called Spindleshanks!

  2. Oh my. I have been wondering where you were, but just assumed you were busy with home edding and enjoying life.

ON a positive note, with diagnosis, perhaps it will all get a little better over time.

    (((hugs)))
