The wild raspberry jam is sooooooooo nice! I only got two jars out of the few I collected, hardly seemed worth the effort but WOW it tastes good! I have actually never made jam before, only chutney, so I was a bit apprehensive, but all went well, and it's so nice on hot toast I tried a little experiment in the bread maker yesterday. The bread maker was given to me by my f-i-l who won it in a raffle a few years ago, and I wasn't keen on the shape of the loaf it made (I like big rustic looking ones!), so it got relegated to the back of the cupboard. Anyway, I was clearing out ANOTHER cupboard (yes, I have many cupboards filled full of rubbish lol) and I happened upon the instructions for the bread maker, which I had a quick read through and realised you could use the machine just to make the dough! Yes, I know everyone already knew that!! So I tried it, and it turned out well, so I think I will use that for speed from now on, although I do like the feel of the dough in my fingers, and working it, brining it to life.

We had a lovely walk last night too, we watched a lovely sunset over the top of the corn fields, and when we got back we realised we had been out for nearly 3 hours. We all slept well last night!
Lewis exploring.
Running through the fields.

Lift me over mum!
I always use the breadmaker just to do the dough, then I claim all the glory of having produced a beautiful home baked loaf!
