New cooker!

Thanks to a bunch of lovely, wonderful beautiful mamas, and especially lovely Sarah, we were able to buy a cooker. We have been cooker-less for 3 weeks now, and it was getting me down, as I really missed baking, and we were getting fed up with salad! Plus the breakmaker died a slow death a few days ago, leaving the kitchen with no electric (and me not knowing where the fuse box was in the new house), so I was really missing my oven. We were able to add a little bit more to the fund, and one of my friends was selling his cooker as he had just moved in with his girlfriend, so this afternoon Richard went over to pick it up. As we are car free now, my friend managed to fit it in his boot, with the added bonus of the cooker weight being shared between two big men, rather than me trying (and failing!) to help carry it in. We got it connected, and oh! I didn't realise just how much I missed my cooker! So tomorrow after getting the bus into town to pick up a few bits I have grand plans to do a huge lot of baking!

Finally, I have to share this photo. Fin went in the bath with me last night for the first time; normally I just pop him in by himself before I jump in. I am not sure what he thought..!!!!
