Well, I finally made it down the aisle. For the second time. Although this time I was ready-I had grown up enough to know what real love was, to know that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this one man, and to know this is what I had been waiting for. My soulmate from past lives had been found again, and we were destined to spend the rest of this life together as we had in previous ones. And I made it to the registry office only ten minutes late! My grandad was pacing the pavement outside, and I found out from my m-i-l that everyone was panicking that I wouldn't turn up!! Maybe they know this free-spirited girl better than I thought! We had a lovely short service, which suited Lewis perfectly, and he was so well behaved through the whole thing, apart from he didn't want any pictures taken of him! We both managed to repeat what we had to say without forgetting, or laughing (!), and afterwards we had a lovely meal in the local pub, folloed by a delicious chocolate cake! It was such a happy day, and the only slightly sad bit was the fact that neither of my parents bothered themselves to turn up, nor did my brothers or sisters. Families hey? But then again, I didn't expect any other, as they didn't bother the first time round either. Their loss I think.
f-i-l, m-i-l, Dh, me, grandma, grandad.
A lovely day, full of wonderful happy memories.
