Randomness

I really have to organise myself. I seem to be wasting more and more time thinking about doing things, then never getting round to doing anything. My head is full of wonderful ideas and yet they are more and more seeming to stay in my head. Where did my motivation go? It seems like time is slipping away from me, and nothing ever gets done. Then I get annoyed with myself for being so lazy/grumpy/time-wastery. Bugger. I really need someone to kick me right up the backside.

Anyhow, on another note, the geese we got from Morpeth yesterday have settled in well. I am sure they thought it was their birthday when we put them into the garden and they saw the grass, as they were being kept in a tiny muddy yard, 40 of them, all cramped in. They have been having a whale of a time chasing the chickens and the dog, although the dog likes to hide behind the corner of the house and ambush them as they waddle past. Richard woke me at half 6 this morning saying the gander had buggered off, and he could hear ir in the field with the bulls in, while mrs goose was in a right state wondering where her hubby had gone! So off Richard trotted to fetch him back; if I wasn't so sleepy (half shut eyes, bright lights and no idea where my glasses were) I probably would have died with laughter watching him legging it over the bull field with a huge goose under his arm!!! Needless to say, their wings were clipped soon afterwards!

Home ed...well, still trying in vain to find any others in the same boat round here! All we are surrounded by are sheep and fields and old man farmers! It's a bit much to travel 50 odd miles to a group, plus I would be struggling to afford the petrol, although one of the lovely mamas on the GP forum have pointed me in the direction of the Borders home ed group, so I will give the woman a ring in the morning, and hopefully we will get somewhere!
