Quick update...

We made it to the hospital, and found out that my bump is a boy bump! It was amazing watching him on the scan....we got to see him yawn! And all his tiny ten toes! If I can figure out how to sort the scanner I'll try upload my scan pic, and if Im brave, a pic or two of my bump (I'm huge lol). In the meantime I am trying to not fall over in the snow and ice (we still have over a foot of snow here), and try and sleep, as I get NO sleep AT ALL at night as I am crippled with sciatic and spd pain :(  Any ideas for sleeping more than 20 inutes at a time would be much appreciated!

Another blanket I have started :)

  1. Oh what lovely news, congratulations! I loved having that mid term scan and getting to see my little baby in so much detail. It would be great to see the piccy, hope you can scan it in. I loved being pregnant, I was also huge, so much so people were saying not long to go from about 20 weeks with most of mine, lol! I also had terrible spd and sciatica and really the ony answer is plenty of rest, the more you do the more it hurts. An under the bump belt from the physio does help, but beyond that just put your feet up!! Beautiful blanket, I wish I could make one of these! Blessings, Liz

  3. As far as SPD pain goes and sleeping. PILLOWS! EVERYWHERE! I had three between my knees, so that my top leg did not flop forwards, basically you want to keep your top leg horizontal, so that no pressure is put on your pelvis. Makes turning over pretty tricky, but does help.

Congratulations too, glad the scan went well.
